Amanda Arrick, FSCP ®
Financial Advisor
Amanda Arrick entered the financial industry 3 years ago with a mission to make financial planning more accessible and understandable to those the industry typically leaves behind. Raised by a single mom in central Florida, she saw first-hand what a lack of financial literacy and support could do to impoverished families. Because of this, Amanda specializes in helping women entrepreneurs and professionals feel more empowered around their money through comprehensive financial planning and education.
Amanda previously spent 13 years in clinical research, specializing in oncology and Type 1 Diabetes clinical trials. Like a lot of people, 2020 was a formidable year for her and she decided that she wanted to devote her professional career to helping others. If she is not in the office, you can find her at a networking event building new relationships, teaching financial literacy classes to the community, or getting involved with local charities such as Roundup River Ranch, Denver Rescue Mission, and Food Bank of the Rockies.
Amanda lives in Aurora with her husband Jordan and their cat Shadow.
April Renne Dougherty
Senior Advisor
Some of the most important financial decisions aren’t really about money.
They’re about protecting the people you love, preserving what you’ve worked so hard to build, and making thoughtful decisions that will shape your family’s future for generations to come.
That’s why I became a financial advisor.
Growing up in a blended family—and now being part of one with my husband, Jerry—I experienced firsthand how money, relationships, and family dynamics don’t always fit neatly into traditional financial plans. Every family has its own story, priorities, and hopes for the future. I believe those deserve more than a one-size-fits-all approach.
For more than 15 years, I’ve had the privilege of helping individuals, couples, blended families, widows, and those navigating divorce make thoughtful financial decisions with greater clarity and confidence.
My work includes comprehensive financial planning, investment management, retirement planning, estate planning coordination, tax-aware planning, and legacy planning—bringing every piece of a family’s financial life together into one coordinated plan that reflects what matters most.
Many of the families I serve have spent decades building successful careers, businesses, investment portfolios, and meaningful lives. Their greatest concern often isn’t simply growing wealth—it’s protecting what they’ve built, caring well for the people they love, and creating confidence that every part of their financial life is working together.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of speaking, teaching, and walking alongside families through some of life’s most significant financial decisions. Those experiences have reinforced what I believe today:
The best financial plans are built on trust, thoughtful conversations, and a genuine understanding of what matters most to each family.
Before recommending a strategy, I want to understand what you’re trying to protect, the legacy you hope to leave, and the values guiding your decisions. Only then can we build a plan that’s uniquely yours.
Outside the office, I’m honored to serve on the Elder Leadership Board of my local church, where I’m entrusted with helping provide leadership, wisdom, and discernment for our church family. I’m also a contributing author to the Amazon #1 Best Seller Overcoming You: Stories of Strength, Struggle & Success. Both experiences continue to shape how I approach leadership, stewardship, and the privilege of helping families make important financial decisions with wisdom and care.
Whether we’re working through a complex family dynamic, preparing for retirement, navigating the loss of a loved one, or simply helping you gain confidence that everything is working together, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

I believe trust is earned long before any recommendation is ever made.
The best financial planning relationships begin with listening, understanding what’s most important to you, and taking the time to see the whole picture before making decisions together. That’s the way I’ve always approached my work.
With more than 38 years of experience in the financial services industry, I’ve had the privilege of helping individuals, couples, blended families, widows, and those navigating divorce make thoughtful financial decisions with greater clarity and confidence. Over the years, I’ve learned that while every family’s situation is different, the best financial planning always begins the same way: by listening.
My work includes comprehensive financial planning, investment management, retirement income planning, estate planning coordination, tax-aware planning, risk management, and legacy planning—bringing every piece of a family’s financial life together into one coordinated plan that reflects what matters most.
That perspective is personal for me, too. When April and I blended our family, I gained an even greater appreciation for how personal financial planning really is. It’s about far more than investments or account balances. It’s about communication, trust, and making thoughtful decisions that honor the people you love.
I’ve found that the families I work with aren’t looking for someone to impress them. They’re looking for someone they can trust—someone who listens carefully, explains things clearly, and helps them move forward with confidence.
Over the years, I’ve learned that some of the most valuable moments in financial planning aren’t the big decisions themselves. They’re the conversations that help families feel understood, gain clarity, and move forward together with confidence. That’s the advisor I strive to be every day.
Whether we’re preparing for retirement, coordinating an estate plan, planning for a business transition, navigating the loss of a spouse, or helping a blended family create a shared vision for the future, my goal is always the same: to simplify complexity so families can make thoughtful decisions together—with clarity and confidence.
One of the unique advantages our clients often mention is having both a husband’s and a wife’s perspective in the room. Financial decisions often affect husbands and wives differently, and we’ve found that hearing both perspectives often leads to better conversations, more thoughtful decisions, and greater confidence moving forward. Because we’ve navigated many of those same conversations ourselves, we understand how valuable it is to have both perspectives represented around the table.
Outside the office, you’ll most often find me fly fishing, on the pickleball or golf course, or spending time with April, our family, and the people we care about most. I’m also honored to serve as a Deacon at my local church, where I’m part of the Care Team supporting both our church family and the broader community through benevolence. In addition, I serve on the Board of Directors for Trailhead Community, helping create opportunities for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to experience genuine belonging, meaningful relationships, and a place where they’re known and valued. Those opportunities continually remind me that the best way to lead is through service, compassion, integrity, and a genuine desire to help others—qualities I strive to bring into every client relationship.
Helping families protect what they’ve built and move forward with confidence is work I’m grateful to do every day.
